Julie Garnier is an expert in digital culture, maker culture and third places. An educational engineer and vocational training trainer for nearly 10 years, she has also co-founded and/or led several professional networks (IDF Tiers Lieux, MakersIDF). His company Pixel9 aims to use digital and digital fabrication as a tool for empowerment.
She also specializes in gender issues in Tech and is president of MakeHerSpace (an association advocating and working for gender inclusion in fablabs and Do-it-yourself spaces).
